Idaho's amazing Potato Museum
Idaho is known as the "Potato State". The Idaho Potato Museum (IPM) aims to educate visitors about all things potato related. This 5500-square-foot museum is located in Pocatello, Idaho on the Short Line Railroad and houses exhibits about how potatoes are grown, harvested, and processed, as well as an industry that is associated with this underground root vegetable. Visitors can also see the world's largest potato ricer and chips press in the exhibition area. In the experimentation lab, visitors can conduct various experiments on potatoes or eat freshly prepared potato dishes in the restaurant.
As a land of potatoes, Idaho is known for its wide fields of potatoes. The museum has an exhibit that explains the history of the potato in VR, as well as some hands-on games! The surrounding area also sells various potato products, which is pretty interesting!
