The name of the Champs-Elysees in Paris comes from Greek mythology, referring to the "Elysian Fields". It is one of the few avenues in the world that is both elegant and prosperous, romantic and trendy, and most importantly, renowned and illustrious.
The Champs-Elysees is referred to as the "soul of Paris" and is also called the "queen of the central Parisian boulevards." In short, this avenue holds a very high status in the world. To the east is a lush, 700-meter-long promenade lined with trees and fragrant flowers, making it a rare, bustling place. To the west is a 1,200-meter long high-end commercial district, which gathers a large number of internationally famous brands.
Looking towards the Champs-Elysees from the Louvre, and passing through the Place de la Concorde and the Arc de Triomphe, one can extend all the way to the Radifaces district outside the city of Paris where there is a new Arc de Triomphe. 19th-century architecture, old-fashioned street lights, and new art newsstands add a touch of Parisian romance.
Walking along the Champs-Elysees, one can observe the busy traffic in the center of the street, admire the lush French plane trees on the side of the road, and experience the lifestyle and romance of the Parisians. Between the prestigious shops, fashionable cafes, and luxury cinemas, everything is magnificent and elegant. This is what we call "beauty."
