Maggiano's is a well-known Italian restaurant chain; you can find many of its locations across the United States. It is worth mentioning because I was moved by the portion size! If you are looking for a change of pace and want to try some pasta, do not miss this place--it has one of the highest values in town! Maggiano's serves traditional Italian fare, featuring its house red sauce and white sauce as main attractions. My personal favorite is their house red sauce--it has a rich tomato flavor with just enough spice to keep things interesting. The linguine noodles are cooked al dente; they pair perfectly with either sauce, but I personally prefer the house red sauce. One serving can easily feed two people; if you're really hungry then three people could share one order without feeling too stuffed afterwards. The restaurant itself has a vintage feel to it--typical Italian decor everywhere you look. There are live musicians on Friday nights playing soft music while you eat your pasta and drink some sangria; it makes for a pleasant atmosphere to relax in after work if you're looking for somewhere easygoing to go on a Friday night.
