Unbelievably classic! If you could only watch one musical in your life, one that must be mentioned is "The Phantom of the Opera," one of the world's four major musicals.
I was fortunate enough to see it once before and was deeply impressed at the time, vowing to watch it a few more times whenever given the chance – I never expected to be able to see it this year!
"The Phantom of the Opera" has stunning stage design, like the 3-meter diameter, 1000-kilogram chandelier, hundreds of European royal court costumes, and a stage backdrop that changes every 5 minutes... It doesn't just bring visual impact but also a magical power that reaches deep into the soul.
In addition to love, what touched me and made me cry was the growth and transformation of the character Christine—an arduous journey from a ballet dancer to an opera singer. When she bravely pulled off the Phantom's mask, it was a truly heart-touching moment for the audience, making me determined to no longer be controlled by others and to become the savior of my own and others' lives.
Another noteworthy part is the soundtrack—the evocative music strikes the heart, and the opening theme comes on unexpectedly, bringing tears to one's eyes.
⚠️ Some important notes:
👉 No photography or recording is allowed during the performance to avoid disturbing others. After the performance, the actors will come forward to take bows-you can take pictures then.
👉 There is a 10-minute break between Act 1 and Act 2 – you can use this time to visit the restroom and it's highly recommended to stand up and move around a bit.
👉 In-house water purchase comes with an exclusive "Phantom of the Opera" bottle as a souvenir, but it is a bit expensive at around 10💲 per bottled water.
👉 For seating, you can choose a spot close to the stage on the first floor. The actors perform more on the left side of the stage. If you have a limited budget, I highly recommend the front row on the second floor – it has excellent visibility and better value for money!
👉 It is recommended to arrive at the theater 30-20 minutes before the show starts. There will be a queue at the entrance, so make sure to allow enough time for yourself to buy drinks, use the restroom, and find your seat.
Don't miss the opportunity to enjoy such an exquisite and unparalleled performance.
