Oregon's tallest waterfall lives up to its name
📍Multnomah Falls, OR, US
Just a 30-minute drive from downtown Portland. The best part is you can see it without hiking a trail!
Oregon's tallest waterfall truly lives up to its name! It's breathtaking at first sight! Can you find me in the picture? That's right, the little yellow dot on the bridge.
Comparing it to me, you can see how tall the waterfall is! Although my research showed it's not the second tallest waterfall in the United States, you can't deny its beauty. Another distinct feature is the bridge in the middle, which gives you the feeling it's leading you into a medieval castle. It not only makes the scene more picturesque, but also allows taking a harmonious portrait with the waterfall.
✅The waterfall is in two sections. On the day we visited, the wind was strong enough to blow the inner waterfall slightly askew. Under normal circumstances, both sections perfectly join together at a distance, making the waterfall even more spectacular.
✅ You will find several smaller waterfalls within a 10-minute drive, such as Latourell Falls, Bridal Veil Falls, Fairy Falls, and Wahkeena Falls. They are worth a visit as well!
