Last weekend, my friends and I got to experience a real-life version of the popular game CS:GO. Here are my thoughts😊
💰Price: We went with the 10-person Private Group package ($60 per person). Protective gear was an extra cost, bringing the total to $70 per person. (Don't forget to tip your guide!)
🌟 We played in three different scenes: Three maps of varying sizes, each with two rounds. Each round lasted five minutes, followed by a two-minute break. Afterwards, the teams would swap playing fields.
The setting of each map was quite raw and there weren't any specific scenarios or roles specified. The aim was simply to hit the opposing team's members within the given time. If you got hit anywhere, you were out and had to leave the field.
Getting hit by a paintball hurt quite a bit, and the guns themselves weren't light, either. Add to that a bulletproof vest and a face shield, and you'd already be panting and sweating like a pig within two minutes of stepping on the field. Something for ladies to keep in mind.
Because it was a private group, our guide was very diligent in staying with us the entire time. I think if it hadn't been a private group and we'd been up against some random person, we might have been in for a tougher battle.
‼️ It's recommended to choose a day that is not too hot, or else you could risk getting heatstroke, like we almost did in last week's 35-degree weather.
Despite all that, if you want to have this kind of experience, it could be fun to gather some friends and give it a go. There's also a real gun shooting range nearby that some might enjoy.
