For first-time visitors to Los Angeles, Hollywood Walk of Fame is undoubtedly one of the must-visit attractions, as it provides an opportunity to search for the stars of their favorite idols.
Hollywood Walk of Fame was established in 1958 and is a pedestrian walkway that stretches along Hollywood Boulevard and Vine Street. The walkway comprises over 2,000 stars embedded with the names of famous Hollywood personalities.
Each star is made of terrazzo - a pink five-pointed star with a brass inlay and set in a deep gray square. The name of the awardee is engraved on the brass inlay within the pink star, while a circular emblem below represents the field in which the awardee earned the star.
