Scenic 17-Mile, known as Seventeen Mile Drive in English, is located between the towns of Monterey and Carmel in California. It is a must-visit route that leads to Highway 1. The sunrises and sunsets here, along with the many scenic spots along the coastline, are extremely beautiful!
🎫 Admission: $10.5 USD, card payment only.
🌟 The best times to visit are spring and autumn. If visiting in summer, it is recommended to enter in the afternoon to avoid the heavy fog in the morning.
🏝 Pescadero Point
This ecologically protected area is famous for its rocky reefs in Carmel Bay. When the tide recedes, you can see a variety of seafood! However, please note that the warning signs clearly state that picking up crabs, starfish, abalone, fish, and seashells is prohibited.
The Lone Cypress
Also known as the "lonely cypress" or "longevity pine," this is the most famous location in the area. It has become a landmark of Pebble Beach. This solitary cypress tree has stood for over 250 years, growing alone on the rocks of the Pacific.
Ghost Trees
These ghost trees grow in a unique way. Constantly battered by sea winds and exposed to a high concentration of salt in the air, these trees have struggled to survive.
