I'd like to introduce you to a museum that you've never heard of before
🏠Skirball Cultural Center
🎫The ticket is free on Friday🆓, but otherwise $12 for one person.
The museum is called the Art and Culture Research Center. However, it doesn't feel like a museum. There aren't many art pieces, and you'll see Skirball's life and many other Jewish memorabilia--but just three pieces at once! It's actually a very sensitive exhibition, so I won't talk much about it here.
The location is beautiful; there are orchids, bougainvilleas, African violets--and a coffee shop! You have to make advance reservations to enter; otherwise you won't be able to visit until next month in August.
I was disappointed that only one exhibition took place this time around; however they say they will have more pieces later on in August!
The exhibition is free on Thursdays, and tickets for other times cost only $12. But I still recommend people come on Thursdays since there are free parking🅿️ spaces at the lot on Thursdays.
