If you happen upon the charming city of Seattle, you simply must take a peek at the Amazon Headquarters, colloquially known as The Spheres Amazon Spheres! This architectural wonder, erected in the heart of Seattle, cost a hefty $4 billion and is comprised of three colossal glass orbs. In all, over 2,600 glass panels were used, with the largest sphere towering at 27 meters!
s you enter this edifice, you'll feel as though you've been whisked away from the hustle and bustle of the city to an enigmatic Amazon rainforest. Amazon dedicated 7 years to constructing a closed tropical rainforest, featuring over 40,000 tropical plants from more than 30 different countries. The building consists of four levels, with a babbling brook enveloping the plants on the lowest level.
On the other side of the industrial-style staircase lies a towering four-story vertical garden. Hidden devices within the wall spray mist every few seconds to maintain the proper temperature and humidity for plant growth. During weekdays, this is a workspace and leisure destination for Amazon employees, but it opens to the public on two weekends per month.
