The Yasaka Shrine is one of the most famous and oldest shrines in Kansai. The main shrine building, called "Gongen-yashiki," is a unique Japanese style of architecture, and there are countless lanterns on top of the main hall. People can write down their wishes, paint horses and pray for love here. We also got a painting drawn for ourselves.
Every July, the Kita-in Temple holds a lively festival called the Jinai. Visitors can enjoy all kinds of snacks, as well as many attractive decorations.
