🏨 For dinner after checking into Ximen Hotel, we had Taiwan-style hotpot, which is highly rated by locals. The location is really convenient, just next to the hotel.
✨ Given its good reputation, there's naturally a lot of foot traffic. If you don't want to wait too long, I recommend making a reservation. Fortunately, it was a weekday around 8 PM when we went, and we were seated quickly without a reservation.
The menu offers multiple choices and we all opted for the recommended 🔥【Plum Pork Stone Pot】. Their meat is served in big chunks that are freshly sliced upon order, which is just incredibly fresh! You would know the difference when you taste it. The portion of the meat slices is also quite generous, and the amiable manager served us additional beef slices and dessert.
Compared to other typical hot pot places, they offer a broader variety of vegetables - Taiwanese fruits and vegetables are notably fresh and sweet!
Just give them a budget and you can eat all you want! Vegetables, ice cream, beverages, various sauces, and rice are all included! If you want to eat hot pot in Ximending, I highly recommend this place!
⚠️ Warm tip
Parents with young children will need to bring their own utensils, as the shop does not provide forks and soup spoons suitable for children.
