You must visit Tiananmen Square at night!!
Having reserved tickets to Tiananmen, I thought it would be great to come in the evening and stay until the flag-raising the next day. The Tiananmen Square at night, surrounded by dazzling light strips, paired with the solemn and rich red of the Tiananmen Square, is simply breathtaking!
You can also arrange an evening bike ride with friends after dinner. From the Wangfujing subway station 🚉, cycle towards the south gate of Tiananmen and you will see the front of the square. However, you are not allowed to stop and take photos there. Those who wish to take photos should prepare their cameras 📷 in advance.
Once at Tiananmen Square, you truly realize that "national peace and order" is indeed a verb. You will surely feel very moved on-site. The flag-raising ceremony is also exceptionally solemn!
