Roman Trip: In Pursuit of Ancient Glory‼️
1⃣️Day One: Exploring the Charms of Ancient Rome
Upon our arrival in Rome, our first stop is the symbol of Ancient Rome - The Colosseum. As soon as we step into this massive structure, it feels as though we've been transported back to the glory days of Ancient Rome. Under the guidance of our tour guide, we listen intently to the stories of history and imagine the spectacular gladiator games of yesteryear. Standing in the centre of the Colosseum, one can't help but feel overwhelmed by the ancient ambiance.
Next, we visit another important relic of Ancient Rome - The Roman Forum. The ancient structures on the square are now reduced to ruins, yet they still display the brilliance and glory of Ancient Rome. Standing in the middle of the square, looking up at the massive pillars and stone carvings, you can almost feel the prosperity and greatness of the empire in its prime.
2⃣️Day Two: Seeking the Harmonious Beauty of Art and Religion
We head to the Vatican to visit the largest cathedral in the world - St. Peter's Basilica. Upon entering the cathedral, we are greeted by a soaring dome and murals, the grandeur of which is truly awe-inspiring.
