Starwood Hotels & Resorts has been acquired by Marriott International, while Le Meridien Dead Sea has changed its name. The hotel should not want to be controlled by Marriott and symbolizes the independent spirit of Israelis! The Jordan Dead Sea near internationally famous chain hotels: Marriott, Star Holiday, Hilton, Kempinski, etc., but there is not a single attributed to these company sales of hotels in Israel's Dead Sea area. Does it mean that Israeli hotels do not need enough support from international travelers to survive?
