🌄Ancient Town of Dukezong in Shangri-La, Yunnan🏯
Ancient Town of Dukezong is one of the ancient towns in Shangri-La, which is located in the plateau area with an altitude of about 3300 meters. Do not wash your hair or take a shower the first night! If you feel uncomfortable, seek medical treatment in time. Due to high altitude sickness, the first day you arrived, your head was very painful, but the second day you gradually adapted.
Accommodation: It's best not to stay in the ancient town. It's really painful to drag your boxes along the stone paths for a seemingly short distance. The owner of the guesthouse is very kind and even rides an electric bicycle to carry your boxes.
Play: 2-3 hours of ancient town sightseeing time. You can punch a card at the panoramic location of the temple. Go to the prayer wheel in the Turtle Mountain Park and turn it three times clockwise to eliminate disasters and bring blessings.
Eat: There are many yak beef hot pot restaurants in the ancient town. We ate highland barley cake and drank butter tea, which were delicious!
